Since girls run the world, my friends and I like to get together every year to celebrate Galentine’s Day! Here is a link to last year’s event. It’s the one holiday where we can all get together to eat, drink, and celebrate our relationships with each other and take obnoxious amounts of selfies without judgement.
I can honestly say we had so much fun. The girls hosted our get together at Level7 Rooftop Bar in the heart of North Hills this year and it did not disappoint. There were drinks flowing and some of the most delicious appetizers to snack on. (I would highly suggest the Cider Moscow Mule and the charcuterie plate! Also, the fruit in a chocolate cup was my favorite dessert. It’s fruit so it’s healthy, right?)
Part of our dessert came from the fabulous Southern Sugar Bakery. You guys – these cookies tasted even better than they looked (if that is possible!) Naturally, Courtney and I were more concerned with having our very first pair of Kylie Jenner lips. (haha)
After eating, we had the honor of having Amanda from Petals on the Go set up to teach us how to make flower crowns! For those of you who are not familiar with Petals on the Go, they are the Triangle’s very first local flower truck. She brings the flowers and the knowledge to whatever event you want! I mean, how perfect would this be for your bridal shower, birthday, or baby shower? She was incredibly sweet and patient with us as we constructed our crowns. I would highly recommend doing something like this for an event because it brought us all together – we laughed and had a great time!
What blogger event is complete without selfies?
Moon & Lola, one of our favorite jewelry/accessories companies, surprised us with the most darling tassel earrings! I cannot wait to wear these beauties on Valentine’s Day… or any day, really! I mean, who doesn’t love a good pair of fun earrings?

Overall, it is always a joy to see these beautiful ladies. There is something so special about the bond we have and the sense of community we have created in a sometimes harsh world full of comparison. Linked left to right, follow along with these wonderful ladies on their blogs!
