Professional lives can be “not so glamorous.” I decided to start a new series that will come to A Style of Her Own every now and then, highlighting work-wear. We all can use a little help with a stuffy office wardrobe! So welcome to the first Working Girl Wednesday!
Today, it is all about the printed pencil pant. I get so tired of wearing black, grey, and khaki trousers day after day… I need COLOR in my life, y’all. The print of these pants gave me all of the heart-eyed emojis. ♥♥♥
Although colorful, they were still professional enough to throw on with a neutral shirt and wear to the office. Sometimes I even throw on a blazer with this to up the professionalism to the max. This beautiful print comes in multiple styles at Banana Republic, including skirts, dresses, and a blazer. Best yet, they are on sale! I linked these pants some other fun prints below if you are not that into flowers.
The point of this post is to show you that there is no excuse for a drab wardrobe just because you work in an office. Have fun with your looks and take some risks!
Happy Monday, friends! It has been quite a while since I did an Instagram roundup for you all, so here it is! You can check out some of the looks below along with the links to where you can find them! 🙂
Most of the items linked in the posts above are now on sale at their marked retailers so snag them while you can! I always seem to find the best deals around this time of the year when stores are trying to make way for a new season’s worth of clothes.
Also, I am so excited to announce that I have a fun collaboration with Headbands of Hope this summer. I will be sharing some of my favorite pieces from their shop and showing how to style them! This is a company that is near and dear to my heart, so it is extra special that I am able to work with them. For every item that they sell, they GIVE a headband to child with Cancer… if that doesn’t tug on your heart strings I don’t know what will!
If you are a fan of my Facebook page, you may have seen my post about the new improvements I made. If not, I added an Instagram Feed tab as well as a Pinterest tab so you can access all three from one page! As always, you can also find me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Snapchat(StephanieEmory.)
Make sure to leave your Instagram handles below so I can follow you back!
I’ve been packing all week for my beach vaca- with the family. Never fails that I always forget to pack something and 30 minutes down the road I remember. To keep myself organized this year, and to hopefully help you, I decided to share my beach bag essentials! This collage is interactive so you can directly click the items pictured below or you can click the links below!
First off, everyone needs a darling beach bag! There are so many cute ones to choose from right now and I have thrown some of my favorites below for you… ↓
While shopping on Shopbop on day I saw this donut beach towel and I knew I had to have it for this trip! I always feel like my normal beach towel doesn’t give me enough space so this 5′ baby should do the trick! (plus… it’s under $30!) If you are not familiar with Shopbop, they honor Amazon Prime shipping so I was able to get this to me in a couple of days for free! Check out the items below to see what I’m talking about… ↓
The rest of my beach bag essentials include a good book to read, some super adorable sunnies along with a floppy hat, the best sunscreen to keep me from resembling a lobster, and a Swell bottle to keep my drink cool! Check them out below… ↓
